So yesterday I had a big day but Mommy decided to go to sleep instead of help me blog about it. Who needs sleep when there's a blog to be done, right? Mommy didn't agree...
Yesterday I woke up early and played, ate a ton of peas then took a fabulous nap with Mommy. Then I ate some more, took another nap and woke up in a store. I was a very good girl and helped Mommy pick out some clothes for both of us :) Then I had to go to the doctor for my checkup and these terrible things called "shots." I'm now 17 pounds, 4 ounces and a whopping 26 inches long! Yep. I'm big stuff :) I took those shots like a trooper - a big cry at first, but when Mommy picked me up I was good as gold again. The nurses couldn't get over how happy and smiley I was through the whole appointment. I tried to tell them that I'm almost always like that but my hand was in my mouth... The doctor said I could hardly be any more perfect. How do ya' like that?!?
The rest of the day I chilled with Mommy, had a little playtime with Daddy and then Mommy and I played for a long time on the floor. I like to play with my little canary - but I really just want to eat it :) As you can see from the pictures, first I give her a little hug, then I take a big ol' bite! Yumyum! I was a bit of a turkey when it came to going to bed but Daddy has the magic touch to get me to sleep.
Today started out the same as yesterday except that it was a ton of bananas instead of peas. We napped and played then I got to spend the whole afternoon with Oma! She's so much fun! So much fun, in fact, that I slept a lot because she just tired me out :) When Daddy brought me home, we played and ate and I took a very large and grownup poopie. He was very proud! He also said I made really funny faces, but I didn't think it was funny one bit! These solid foods are awesome going in but woohoo...let's just say things have changed going out...
The top picture is right before we went to Oma's house. I think I look so very grown up! Not to mention super cute in my polo, jeans and tennies :) I like to rub my feet together really hard, so those shoes didn't stand a chance - they were off by the time we got to the end of the driveway! I'm going to be quite the handful as I get bigger - that's a promise!
Well, I'm off to bed - tomorrow I get to spend all night with Daddy, so I better get some rest! Nighty-night!
