Movie Star

Yesterday was a super busy day! I went to the lumber yard with Daddy for a bit and then we went to visit Mommy at work. We all had a nice lunch together and then Daddy took me home for more playtime :) We played and gardened until Mommy came home. I learned that I could get my foot in my mouth, so I spent a good portion of the day sucking on them...

I got to play the blanket game for a while and roll around on the floor (my two favorite activities - after eating, of course) and then I went to a magical place called the "drive-in." I was so excited by all the people and sounds! There was so much to watch, even before the movies started! I even got to go on the big girl swing by the big movie screen :) I had another special treat - I sat in the front seat of the car! As you can see from the pictures, I can sit up so well (and am a bit of a camera ham) that I hardly ever need help staying up now.

I got pretty sleepy and took a little nap when the first movie started but woke up when it was finished. I just wanted a little snack :) I was so very good for the whole night - it was Daddy and Mommy's first big screen movie since I came along, so I wanted them to have fun! I woke up for the shift into my carseat and stayed up until we got home, where I got a fresh diaper and some nummies and fell fast asleep with Mommy :)

Today we've all been hanging out, taking it easy after our late night. I went for a stroller walk with Mommy, played in the grass with Daddy, watched the birdies in our feeders and took a little nap. I've been playing with Daddy since I got up and I think Mommy is going to take me to visit Oma in a little while if she's home. I do so love my Oma! So...as PopPop would say - "take 'er easy!"
