Family Time

Today was a great day spent as a family :) Mommy, Daddy and I spent all day together and it was wonderful! I had some tasty, tasty prunes for breakfast and took a nice nap with Mommy. We let Daddy sleep in since I was a stinker and kept him up from 4am-5am... After my nap, Daddy and I played before he went off to mow the lawn. Then Mommy took me to a park I had never been to before - right by our house. We had such a fun time! I really love to swing :)

Then I was feeling a little cranky and a lot tired, so we took a nice, long country drive (which I slept through) before going home to play with Daddy some more. He's a silly guy, my Daddy! We laid on the floor and played forever! He gave me a delicious banana - this one was different from the usual 'naners...it had a peel on it and was like eating a piece of heaven :)

We all went to the grocery store together and then Daddy made something called "bratwurst" on the stinky grill. I played outside in the grass with Mommy while he did that. Boy was that ever fun! I rolled onto my tummy and discovered the greatest thing on earth - EARTH! I played in the dirt for a long time and got it nice and caked under my fingernails - I had planned to eat it later but nooo...Mommy went and cleaned it off! Jeepers - a girl can't even eat some dirt around this place!

Daddy had to leave for a little while and then Mommy brought me to where she works to help the new girl close up. I liked Jodi a lot! She held me and played with me while Mommy worked on the computer - it was fun! Then I got to play with the stuffed animals and check out the other neat stuff at her store. There are so many colors and lights! I like to go play there :) On the way home, I chatted up a storm! Mommy propped up the camera and got some video that I'll have to post later - it was funny stuff :)

I took another little nap, then a nice warm bath and watched a movie with Mommy until Daddy came home. We rocked together and then all I wanted to do was play (no bed for me!). But Mommy has the magic touch and is going to rock me to sleep now. What a great day! Nighty-night all!
