I had a fantastic "Clairesday" with Mommy! Last night was pretty rough for my poor little gums, so I was ready and raring to go for fun and games this morning :) We played and played forrrrrever and then took the best nap ever. I learned something new today that I'm pretty excited about - I figured out that if I pull on the shiny cord attached to my ceiling fan, the light turns on and off! So I had to pull on that for a million years and was pretty peeved at Mommy for taking it away from me. It was super cool to look up at the light, pull the cord and watch what happened - "cause and effect," Mommy calls it. I just call it cool new stuff!
After all that fun, we took a very long drive to visit my pal Hunter! We played in his awesome Jumperoo, laid on his playmat together and sat and stared at each other all afternoon :) It was great! His mommy Nicole is super cool and lots of fun to play with, too! I didn't get to see his grandma, Debbie, so I was a little bummed out but Hunter made up for that with lots and lots of playtime ;)
I slept the whole way back to town and woke up at Walmart. It seems like that happens a lot... We bought lots of groceries and yummy nummy baby food - plus Mommy even bought me my very own rattle! When I visited Bettina and Paul, they had a rattle on their playmat that I just loved so Mommy went and found me the same one (of course, mine is a divine shade of pink instead). I'm really digging on my new fun toys!
When we got home, I played with Daddy, ate some nummy sweet peas and then freaked out because my teeth were bugging me again... It was rough going there for a while but then the cherry goo Mommy put in my mouth (that I absolutely hate) made it all better. Now I'm going to lay down and hopefully get some good sleep without pain in my mouth! Nighty-night!
