It's been another busy few days! On Friday I played with Brookie all afternoon - gosh, she's a lot of fun! We went for a walk, played with my toys and she made silly faces at me to make me laugh. My little mouth still hurts, though, so I was a bit cranky here and there but nothing Brookie couldn't handle :) I was a bit of a stinker for Daddy, though! I took a little nap with him and then played but when it was bedtime, I was having none of that... Mommy came home from work and gave me a bath and since I still refused to sleep, we played for a little while before I just couldn't fight it anymore. I just don't want to miss anything! Maybe that's why I wake up three times at night these days....
Saturday is my day with Daddy and I had lots of fun! All I really wanted to do was play by myself in my room. When Daddy came in to play with me, I told him to get out... When Mommy came home, she gave me a magical toy that makes noise when I hit it. She calls it a baby piano. I call it AWESOME! I made some beautiful music for everyone :)
I also learned how to stand up by myself! Well, maybe I was holding on to the toybox but still - I'm big stuff! I stood there without help for, like, forever and it was super cool. After all this fun, how could I possibly sleep? Everytime they would lay me down, I responded with screaming. Finally they just gave up and let me play but then it was really, really past my bedtime so I got to go for a ride in the car! Next thing I knew, I was awake in my crib so I demanded some love and some food. Twice. And then again at 5:30am. What can I say? I'm a growing girl!
Today we are going to the park and maybe to see Oma :) Right now, I've got to get back to this concerto that I'm writing. Have a happy day!
