Happy Happy Day

Well I had a super happy happy day at daycare and then a great evening with the family at Great Grama & Grampa's! It was my cousin Lydia's birthday and boy was it fun to play with her and my other cousins :) I got so much love from everyone that I hardly knew what to do! My "Apple Bob" and Aunt Jenny were tons of fun and I even played Transformers with my cousin Collin. I was Optimus Prime, of course :). Aunt Mitsy, cousin Meg and Oma all took turns snuggling and playing with me. It was a happy happy birthday for sure!

I took a little nappy on the way home and when I woke up, I had a little numnums and some Orajel for my poor little gums. Then Mommy said it was time for me to learn something called "self-soothing" which is apparently some medieval torture method that means I have to go to sleep. So right now I'm busy screaming like someone is killing me because I don't want to go to sleep and Mommy is in the other room trying very hard not to come and get me. I've got her pretty well whipped to come everytime I cry and I think she might have figured that out... Uh oh-I might just have to cry myself to sleep for the first time! She also said something about not feeding me overnight! Some fancy doctor and all the ladies at Grama's said it's not good for me. Well phooey on them! I like the numnums and I want them so we'll just see about that...

Well, I guess maybe it's time to give up and go to sleep. After all, I've been at this screeching bit for an hour and it hasn't worked yet so maybe I'll just rest my eyes (and voice) for a minute... Nighty-night!
