It was a pretty mellow day - which was great because I had such a busy, exciting weekend. I played in the morning and then went off to daycare. I was a very good girl for Lisa :) Then Mommy came to pick me up and we went home to play with Daddy. I was all smiles for Daddy, that's for sure! I missed him today! I had so much fun playing with them that it was hard for me to stay awake - I kept falling asleep everytime I ate something (which is a lot these days).
I took a little bitty nap and then got up to play with Mommy some more. She was putting away all my clothes (I'm a little fashionista already!) while I played next to her on the floor. My new favorite mode of communication is shrieking and/or squealing. Mommy says that when I was born I snorted like a piggy and now I squeal like one, too... My squeals are happy, happy, happy! When you talk to me, I answer back even though sometimes it sounds like I'm just shrieking :)
I also decided that I need to start getting around on my own, so it's my new goal to learn to crawl. I can't do it yet but I sure tried hard tonight! I rolled over and squirmed and squirmed until I moved a few inches towards the toy I wanted but it was so much hard work that I needed a rest. All that squirming has made me tired! I guess I had better get some sleep so I can try again tomorrow! Nighty-night!
