Today was a wonderful day! I got to be with Mommy all day :) We played in the morning - I did my rolling over exercises then my Jumperoo calisthenics before taking a nice little nap. When I got up, we met Daddy for lunch then went grocery shopping. We were going to go to the park but it was SO windy that I didn't want to play outside.
We came home and Mommy gave me a special treat - rice cereal with applesauce from a jar! It was my very first "baby food" and I loved it! I usually prefer my cereal pretty thick, so this was a little harder for me to eat (it's super thin!) but I got most of it down the hatch with a little work. Mommy also bought me some other fruits and vegetables - I'm excited to try them :) I'm eating so much these days that she can hardly keep up with the milky so it's a good thing I like these new foods! Pretty soon it will be much easier for me to eat from the spoon and I'll be gobbling it up faster than you can feed it to me!
Since I was so full from my delicous lunch, I took another nap while Uncle Art came and worked on the fridge (it wasn't keeping my milky cold enough!) then woke up to play some more. We went outside and I got to play in the yard while Mommy took a zillion pictures. I watched the wind move the tree branches, listened to the windchimes and tried to eat a dandylion. It was good stuff :) We did that for about an hour and then Mommy took a little nappy-poo with me :) When I got up I was a crankypants, so we went for a drive - I love the car! We ended up at Sam's Club, where I was a precious little angel :) I cooed, made happy squeals and giggled at Mommy the whole time. Some nice ladies told Mommy what a good little girl I was and a man who worked there told me how pretty I am! We should go to Sam's everyday!
When we got home I ate a little more applesauce/cereal and took a bath. I was the stinkiest, dirtiest kid in the whole universe, so I took an extra long soak in the tub :) Now I smell like a bed of roses and Mommy won't stop sniffing my head...
It's been a very busy (and very wonderful) day with Mommy so I had better rest up - Grandma K is coming tomorrow and she's going to take me for a long walk! Nighty-night!
