I just got back from a wonderful little vacation :) We all went back home to Wisconsin to see my family and boy, oh boy was it a great trip! I spent a whole day with Grandma K - I sure do miss her! She's so much fun :) We played and played all day long! Then we went to dinner with Daddy before going back to Oma and PopPop's for bath and bed. It was a busy day! The next day we went for a long stroller ride to these things called "Yard Sales" which weren't that fun but I like to be outside :) There was even a band playing at one house and a girl was singing outside of a store - I really liked her. I danced along to the music and was sad when they stopped to take breaks. Mommy found me some cool stuff at these sales - I got a little bitty chair for outside, a Mega Blocks school bus (yay, more blocks!), a doodle board (those ones that you write on with the magic pen and then slide a button across to erase it) and a big bag of summer shirts. I'm pretty excited about the chair :) You might not know this, but I'm kind of obsessed with chairs and sitting on things. At Oma's house, I find anything and everything that I can sit on - even her coffee table!
Later that day I played with Oma and the dog-dog :) I sure love to play with the puppy! I also chased the kitty around the house but he won't let me play with him... Grandma Lynn gave me this super awesome tricycle, too! I'm too little to ride it but I sure do like to sit on it and be pushed around! I can hardly wait until I'm big enough to push those pedals myself! I had another special treat on Saturday - dinner with my family :) I went to see Great Granny, Aunt Traci and my cousins - it took me a while to warm up (there were lots of people and I had just woken up) but I had so much fun! Granny even let me rub brownie all over my legs and stick it in my toes... It was awesome! I also learned how to feed Mommy - or rather, how to drop food on her - which was lots of fun :)
On Sunday I spent all day with my wonderful Oma (plus Mommy and Daddy were there but they're just not as fun)! Oma let me play in a little pool and I spent hours just dumping water all over myself and the ground - what a great way to spend a Sunday! I even brought several cups of water over to the dandylions - I thought they were thirsty :) I got to see my Aunt Nicole and she did some crazy dancing with me :) I really love to dance! We had a great time until the kitties had to go into their cages so that we could bring them home with us... Charlie was really, really scared and he jumped out of his cage and scratched me. I have a really big owie under my neck! Mommy came to the rescue, though - we played in the sink water until I felt better (and she put a magical elixir called "Peroxide" on my owie). I'm totally okay now - don't worry! And I wasn't mad at the kitty - he was scared and I just happened to have wandered over there. Mommy said that my timing couldn't have been more perfect - I am perfect, after all!
Well, it was a long ride home so I managed to throw a few nasty fits but it wasn't too bad. I liked to see the kitty next to me and say "KittyCat" over and over again :) Now we're home, rested and ready for the day! I've been completely wild already this morning - those kitties are in for some trouble! I follow them everywhere and like to pet them :) I'm SO happy to have the kitties back! Which reminds me, where are those kitties? I had better go and find them!
