Happy New Year!

Well it's a brand new year and my New Year's Resolution is to spend more time on my blog! I know I always say this, but I've been SO busy! I had my very first Christmas and it was wonderful! I went to my Aunt Jenny's house and everyone in the whole world was there - it was super fun! I walked from Auntie to Megan and back about a million times, tore open some fabulous presents and tried to break everything that was within reach :) Everyone covered me in kisses - even the puppy! Oma gave me a box of musical instruments that were super cool that made me the hit of the party :) The next day I got to play with all of my new toys and boy, oh boy, I am learning all kinds of great things from them!

In the last week, I'm now toddling all over the place and am bound and determined to always carry something when I'm walking :) I have new blocks and am learning how to put them together and put them away. It's a new fun game that I play with Mommy - we put the blocks in the bag and then dump them out and do it again! I like to do that with my bath toys, too :)

I'm very smart - I watch what my Mommy and Daddy do and then try to repeat it. I know how to turn the lightswitch on and off, how to turn the ceiling fan on and off, I wipe the tray from my high chair when I'm done eating (Mommy taught me that!) and I'm learning new words like "hat" and "kitty" and "juice." I do my sign language just about everyday when I eat - I can sign "more" and "done" - it's really fun and everybody goes all bananas when I do it :) I know how to use all of my toys - all you have to do is hand it to me and I'll figure it out! I also like to give you presents if you put out your hand :) I like to point at things and ask what it is and I've also figured out how to cry when I don't get things my way. It looks like I'm going to take after Mommy - strong willed and stubborn!

Well, I better get to bed - it's been a long day without a nap! Nighty-night!
