Clairesday - the New Wednesday

Today is technically Wednesday but we have renamed it "Clairesday" because it's my special day with Mommy :) I love "Clairesday!"

We had a lazy day and never even got out of our jammies...well, I did - twice because I decided to spit up on them and then after my bath I changed again. I was a jammie fashionista today! My tummy must have been upset (or perhaps it's my gluttonous nature as a little piggy and I simply ate too much) because I made lots of yuck today. Just little bits at a time for the most part but the best one was when Mommy was laying down and I was standing on her tummy and well, you can guess the rest. I thought it was hysterical - Mommy did not... I was grateful for my nice warm bath tonight - I was awful stinky!

Aside from all that, we had a super fun day! We had tummy time then Mommy brought me downstairs and taught me how to do laundry. That doesn't look like much fun! Mommy said the laundry pile has tripled since I came along but I think she secretly likes to see my little bitty clothes hanging on the clothesline :) Daddy says "Awww" and smiles when he sees it, too. He just can't believe how big I'm getting - big enough to "help" with the laundry!

We spent most of the day talking, singing and napping - it was a great "Clairesday!" I'm now 13 weeks old and in my fourth month out here. I have to say that I really like it :) I'm learning new things all the time. I can focus on small objects, lift my body up, sit up on my own (though I'm still wobbly!), I learned how to squeal so loud it could shatter glass (lol) and so much more! Life out here is pretty exciting and I'm such a happy baby! Especially on "Clairesday," my special day with Mommy :)

Well, this big girl had better get to bed - I have a big day with Grandma K tomorrow. Nighty-night!
