Big Changes

Golly, has it really been two months since my last post? It's been pretty wild around here so I just plum forgot about my little blog! Here's a little bit about what's been keeping me so busy.

We moved! We got a really big truck and put all of our things in it (I made sure that Mommy and Daddy took extra special care of my toys) and drove a really long time until we got to our big house in beautiful Wisconsin :) It sure is a magical place...not like that silly Minnesota lol! Mommy taught me how to say "Go Badgers!" I'm not sure what that means exactly but she really likes it when I say it, so "Go Badgers!"

The night we got here, I had a special sleepover with Grandma K and then we played all day while Mommy and Daddy were doing this "unpacking" thing. Grandma brought me home and I ran around my big yard for like, forever, before they made me go check out the house. I love my new house and my room! This place is great! The first thing I did when I got into my room was grab my Diaper Genie, give it a hug and yell, "My stinky garbage! Yay!" Apparently the grownups think it's funny that I was more interested in the trash than my toys but for all you babies out there, you know how it is... :) Since then I've been running around here like crazy, playing in my big yard, climbing up and down the stairs (giving Mommy a heart attack), and having tons of fun. I'm pretty excited to be able to see my family whenever I want! I sure missed my Grandma K and Oma!

I've been super busy getting big, too :) I sing now. Yep - you heard it here folks. I will be the next American Idol, singing original songs like The Sign Song. I made it up myself and it goes a little something like this: "This is a song about signs / Da da da da / Song about signs / Signs / Signs / There's a green sign / Da da da da.." I also penned the soon-to-be-legendary Tree Song: "This is a song about trees / song about trees / da da da da / trees trees trees / song about trees..." I'm not sure why Mommy and Daddy laugh when I sing those songs, though - I'm a serious songwriter, you know... :) I also like to cover other songs like You are My Sunshine, which I sing with Mommy just about every day. I have lots of instruments and love to play music - especially the drum. I get out the big metal stockpot and some wooden spoons and go to town!

I recently discovered that Easter has to be the greatest holiday in the world. I got to run around and find a special basket full of candy and toys, then I got to go outside and find eggs full of candy, and then I went to church where I played with a bunch of cool kids and got more eggs full of candy, THEN we went to lunch where a giant bunny gave me another egg full of candy! Let's just say I've had a lot of jellybeans in the past few days lol... I liked finding the eggs so much that I hid them for Grandma K but went to find them myself :) I put a bunch of them in the wood pile and I'm not sure that I found them all haha! It was a super fun day for sure!

Well, I better get to it - there's a big pot in the kitchen waiting for me to come bang on it :)

PS - Mommy would like to share an embarrassing story:
So yesterday, Claire looked down her shirt and said, "I can't find my boobies anywhere!" LOL
She's getting so big that you can have a whole conversation with her! She woke up and said, "My tummy hurts, Mommy." I said "Oh no!" and she goes, "That's 'cuz there's no food in it. Come on - let's get somethin' to eat!" Gosh, she is a smartypants!
