Turkey and Snowbanks and Costumes, Oh My!

What an exciting week it has been! Mommy and I went back to Wisconsin for a special day called "Thanksgiving." It's a very long drive but this time I didn't mind - Mommy gave me my very own TV for the ride! I watched Dora and Spongebob for hours! Best car trip ever!

When we got to Oma's, I played with Great Granny - it was great! I haven't seen her in a very long time, so we had to catch up on our playtime :) Oma gave me a special present - a box full of costumes! I put on the ladybug costume and fancy shoes and tromped around the house, while Granny wore the kitty ears and Mommy wore the clown hat. Boy, oh boy did we have fun!

The next day, Granny picked up this thing called a turkey and pretended that it was flying around the kitchen...she's a silly lady, that Granny! Daddy cooked a big meal but I skipped out, taking a nap instead :) I had some yummy, yummy turkey later, though!

It snowed and snowed like crazy and I convinced Mommy to put on all my snow gear so I could play outside. I like to pick up the snow and throw it :) The dog likes to try and catch it in her mouth! It was lots and lots of fun and I didn't want to go inside but Mommy said it was too cold. I'll get out there again soon!

I also got to play with Grandma K! I love going to her apartment building and running up and down the halls :) I also played the piano, dumped a 1,000 piece puzzle on the floor and played something called "52 Card Pickup" at one of Grandma's neighbor's... I sure am a lot of fun, huh?!? That night I played with Oma until very late (she's naughty and let me stay up WAY past my bedtime) and we had lots and lots of fun together! My favorite thing to do at Oma's house is to run around the house without clothes on after my bath and scream, "Nakee Baby! Nakee Baby!" That sure is a hoot!

On our way back home, we stopped to see my friend Hunter :) I sure do love Hunter and his mommy! His daddy, though, I'm a little scaredish of him - I actually listen when he tells me no... They have a really big Christmas tree with pretty lights! I really, really wanted to play with them and the shiny ornaments but nobody would let me!
