I know it has been a very long time since my last blog - I've been just so busy getting big that I haven't had time to write! Well, where to begin?!? I'm talking up a storm these days! People are amazed at how many words I know and how well I speak. I don't think it should be a surprise at all - I am pretty amazing, you know :) Not only do I mimic the words you say, I know what they mean and remember words that I've only heard once or twice. My friend Lily's mommy is a speech therapist and says that I'm speaking at or above a 2 year old level. I'm not sure what that means exactly, but I hear it means I'm a smart cookie :)
I really love to play outside and have recently discovered ladybugs. Last week, Mommy found two ladybugs and let me hold them and they crawled all over me! It was really fun! And then this weekend, Grandma K. took me hunting for ladybugs. I had one, I lost it and then when I found it again I said, "There you are!" It made Grandma laugh and laugh :) I really like to make people laugh! Just the other day I put on Mommy's ambulance shirt and ran around the house yelling, "Amalance! Amalance!" That made her laugh a lot, too. I must be really funny ;)
I've really been on the move in the last month. We all went on a little vacation for Labor Day (pictures of me on the beach where Daddy proposed to Mommy are above!) - we went EVERYWHERE! First we went to Duluth, then we met Oma & PopPop at the cabin in Hayward, then the next day we went to see Grandpa K. in another town, then we went down to our hometown and made the trip back to Minnesota the next day. It was a big adventure! Then a couple weeks later, Mommy and I went back to our hometown to visit Oma & Grandma K. We even stayed a night with Auntie Nicole. She has a lot of stairs that I think are the cat's meow! Oh AND she has the biggest tv I have ever seen! Elmo was bigger than me! It was pretty cool stuff! I also got to spend two whole days with Grandma - it was awesome! I really like the people in her building and they sure love me! They especially like it when I come to play the piano for them :)
Just a couple days after I got back home with Mommy, Daddy took me back to Grandma's! He had to do some work on our old house, so I played with Grandma and her friend Steve - that's when we played with the ladybugs :) It was so much fun that I didn't want to leave! I also spent a little time with Oma before Daddy and I had to go home. I sure missed Mommy while we were gone and spent the rest of the night playing and snuggling with her :)
Like I said - I've been on the move! I'm going to post more pictures so you can see what I've been up to at home and then I'm off for a much needed nap. Nighty-night!
