Since it has been so nice out lately, I have been spending a lot of time at the playground :) There are lots of little parks where we live and we just discovered one within walking distance that has a super fun slide that looks like an alligator! Just yesterday Daddy took me there after work and we must have gone down that slide a billion times :) I'm not picky, though - I will play just about anywhere. In fact, one of my favorite things to do at any park is sit down in the dirt and dig! But I don't like it when my hands get dirty, so I stop a lot to wipe them off!
Today I had so much fun on the playground - that is, until I fell down and bit my tongue. Oh my...what terrible pain that was! My little tongue bled forever and I cried so hard that I thought I would run out of tears! But Mommy knew just what to do - a little cold water, a little pacifier and a lot of love :) Plus I made a new friend there who let me hold her babydoll until I felt better - that was really nice! I'm pretty excited about my new friend Ava. She's a little older than me and is so nice that she waits for me when I'm trying to get up the stairs. When I got my owwie, she came down off the slide to hug me so I would feel better. What a great new friend! Her mommy is going to call my mommy and we're going to play again soon :)
There's not a whole lot else to report for now. I'm starting to be a real stinker when it comes to meals - I don't want to eat what Mommy and Daddy give me so I throw it on the floor... The grilled cheese incident from yesterday may have been the last straw - I heard some talk about going hungry if I don't eat what I'm given, so I might want to rethink this whole food-throwing stuff... I'll think about it but this may just end up being an epic battle and I like to think that I can win, so we'll see...
I'm off to nap, as I have had a long afternoon chalk full of play and injuries and trauma (like when Mommy wouldn't let me play with the tomatoes or eat the pudding cups at the grocery store...) - nighty-night!
