It has been pretty busy around here! After I settled in, we went back to our other house for a few days - it was kind of confusing since all my stuff was gone at the new house! It was a really long drive (which I boycotting sleeping during...) but worth it - I got to spend a whole day with Grandma K and her friends and another day with Oma and PopPop! There was another very long drive but this time Grandma K came with and played with me while Daddy drove - it was really nice to have someone to play with!
Grandma stayed with me for three days and it was awesome! We played and played and had so much fun :) She even bought me some super great new toys - a drum and this funny thing that lights up and spins when I push the button (and I looooove to push buttons on things)! I got so much love that I didn't know what to do :) Grandma left with Daddy the other day and I haven't seen him since - Mommy says he's working and that I get to spend all day on Saturday with him while she does something called "escape..." (Mommy says to tell you that's a joke...kind of...lol). She put together a little stroller for my baby dolls and at first I pushed them around the house and it was lots of fun but then I decided that I wanted to sit in their stroller. I might be too heavy for it and it's possible that I broke it... But Mommy to the rescue - she pushed me around in my little stroller and saved the day! I sure do love the stroller rides - Grandma K takes me everytime I visit her :) She says "Let's go for a ride!" and I run to the stroller and try to climb in all by myself. I can't wait until it warms up outside so I can go for long rides!
I've been having loads of fun lately - that is until yesterday when Mommy took me to the doctor where they poked me with these pointy things and made me cry... They told me the pokes were good and would keep me from getting sick. Well they were NO fun at all! I got over it pretty fast though - it just took some McNuggets and apple juice and I was happy as a clam again :) I am 23 lbs, 14 oz and almost 31 inches tall! The doctor said I'm in the 90th percentile - that must make me pretty special!
I'm talking more everyday and learning something new all the time. Today I put Mommy's slippers on her feet and helped vacuum. I can do the signs for ball, eat, more, all done, thank you and bath (but that one is pretty hard). I know what many of the words that people say mean (though I do choose to ignore "NO"...) and am learning to say more everyday. Today I did a lot of jabbering and I even talked to my baby dolls for quite a while (they like that). If you're keeping track, I have been bottle-free for more than three weeks now and only use my pacifier when I go to sleep and in the car (and when I find one that I've hidden somewhere....). One of my top teeth has come through and the other one is right behind it. I'm getting so big!
Wow! All of this growing and learning has made me awful tired - I had better get some rest so I can keep Daddy on his toes tomorrow! Nighty-night :)
