I know it's been a little while since my last blog - we've been having some internet issues but everything is back up and running again! Where to start? Well, last Friday I spent the whole day with my Daddy and it was amazing :) We visited our friend Tony and had lunch together, then went frisbee golfing - boy was that ever fun to watch! Daddy throws the disc really super far! Later we went shopping with Grandma K - she bought me a whole bunch of numnums that I could hardly wait to dig into :) We spent the rest of the night playing and having special Daddy-baby bonding time and then I went to bed like the good little girl I am!
Saturday I went with Mommy to her work for a little while and played while Mommy and Daddy worked on what they called the "Halloween store." I don't know what that's all about but it's a really big place with lots of stuff to look at! The loud noises scared me, so Brookie came to play with me for a little bit before Grandma K brought me to her apartment. There I got to visit with everyone who lives in her building and boy, oh boy did they love me! I was showered with affection and adoration (as usual) and had a lot of fun with Grandma all day. I also discovered how to get up on my knees and rock back and forth! This is hands-down the greatest thing since jarred peas and I can't stop doing it :) I can also get up on my toes and make a little bridge - I should be crawling very soon! I just need to figure out how to move my arms AND my legs at the same time - I've been eating a lot of carpet trying...
I spent that night and the whole next day with Mommy and Daddy - I loooove Sundays! I'm also getting better at sleeping through the night. I've only been getting up once or twice and in the past few days I've gone right back to sleep with my Nuk and a little tummy rub.
Monday and Tuesday I had an awesome time at daycare playing with the kids and snuggling with Jody. Tuesday was my last day there - next week I'll go back to my regular daycare, which I'm excited about because there will be a brand new baby to play with! But I'm really going to miss the boys at Jody's - they just love to play with me all day long :) Jody says I can come visit anytime and I hope Mommy brings me to see her again soon!
Today I've been all over the place! Mommy and I went to see her doctor for a checkup and then we went to visit Carrie at the Girl Scout office where Mommy used to work. I can't wait until I can be a Girl Scout! I had tons of fun playing with Carrie - her necklace was delicious :) I played with my toys, ate a necklace and covered myself in a thick layer of slobber (I recently learned how to blow rasperries and do it whenever I'm wearing something nice so I can accessorize with drool...) for a couple of hours and then we went on our way :) We stopped by Mommy's store and while she told everyone what to do (boy, she does that a lot - even at home!), I snuggled with Jenny until I almost fell asleep in her arms. Mommy said it was the cutest thing ever! I tried to tell her that of course it was cute - it was me doing it lol! We went home, took a little nap and then played outside until Daddy came home. Then we went grocery shopping and I got to ride like a big girl in the cart again! It was awesome :)
Now I'm all clean and ready for some playtime with Daddy and then bed! Nighty-night!
